The workflow

Start with the six sample JPEGs. Add Date Taken and Camera in Build a Completely New Name, choose a date format and review every result. Add a sequence or another unique part when several photos share the same date.

What to check

Capture date is different from when a file was copied to your Mac. Missing or incorrect metadata needs review; do not assume every file has a trustworthy capture date.

When you are ready to buy

Buy once on the Mac App Store. Install the purchased edition separately, then reopen your saved session. No subscription.
